Business Library Registered clients of the Hurricane Business Recovery Center have access, at no cost, to an extensive research and reference library. Our business librarian can assist you with customized industry and market research, utilizing vast on-line resources in addition to the books, journals and periodicals that are available on site. Clients of the Hurricane Business Recovery Center sometimes need professional advice that we cannot provide. HBRC works with the Small Business Development Center in your community to provide you with a list of qualified legal and tax professionals. Participants in our Professional Services Network (PSN) offer HBRC clients a reduced fee structure. Ask a consultant how to register for the PSN. Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Selling your product or services to the government (local, state or federal) can seem overwhelming and complicated. You can learn how to prepare to do business with government agencies by consulting with our affiliated specialty center, UH SBDC’s PTAC. All consultations are free of charge. The UH HBRC is a business consulting and training center of the University of Houston SBDC Network. The UH SBDC Network serves 32 counties in Southeast Texas.
